Edumakated!

I graduated 11 May. Happy Mother's Day, Mom. The Mumsy and my baby sister came up to attend commencement with me. Have to say, no matter what I achieve in the future, I don't think I'm ever going to do THAT again. 4 HOURS of listening to blowhards go on and on about my class' accomplishments. We KNOW we're good...can we just get our diplomas and get it over with?! In other news, it was one of the shorter ceremonies I've had the pleasure of attending, so there's a plus.

The roomie racked up a HUGE energy (fuel and electric) bill in the three to four weeks that I wasn't living there...love her to death, but I may ask that she cut back on the TV just a bit. Depending on how things go, she will probably be moved out by the end of next month; I explained to her that I just need space right now.

Started the new job on Monday. Go in for a UA sometime today so I can drive their Class B rig for them. Not too bad, if you ask me. I like the job, it's laid-back. However, it's a bit TOO mindless for me, so I am now avidly considering applying for grad school for the Northern Studies program...or looking for a job/career in my field, here, while I wait for my partner to finish her master's research. Hmmm....decisions, decisions. I'm on-campus now; might as well stop by the sixth floor and find out what 'interdisciplinary' means for this program. Until next time!
